One day when Swamiji was traveling from one village to another he arrived at a village called ‘Bane’ late in the evening; so they decided to spend the night here before the proceed further on their tour.The entire mandli was very tired after a whole day of travel so they all sat on a raised area outside a shop but the ruthless shopkeeper came screaming for them to vacate the place. Everybody was shocked at his reaction because he was acting as if they were robbers. The devotees accompanying Sai in the tour started questioning the shopkeeper for the reason of his objection of them sitting down outside his shop. When the argument starting worsening Sai told the 2-3 devotees to look for another place in the village for them to rest. Strangely the devotees returned disappointed. They told Sai that even the Saint in a darbar in the village was not ready to accommodate them. Finally, they located a verandah outside a house and decided to spend the night there. Soon after keeping their belongings and settling down in the verandah, the servant of the house saw them and urged them to leave that place too.

Gurumaharaj in His discourse said that the most important job of Humans is to conquer the mind because it is the mind which is extremely powerful. The mind can be one’s best friend and it is the same mind that can be one’s worst enemy. He explained through His teachings that we consistently need to keep a tab on the mind, be aware of the thoughts, the direction in which it is taking you and keep redirecting it on our Goal.

The father of Swami Gurumukhdas, Bhagat Lakhmichand, (who was Swami Teoonram's sister, Gyanibai's husband) was critical. He sent a message to Swamiji to visit him so that he can obtain his darshan during his last few breaths. When Swamiji met Lakhmichand, Swamiji told him to contemplate on his soul; know for sure that your soul is not destructible, Soul is not subject to birth and death. This body is made up of five elements and is destroyable. Even if the body gets destroyed you don't get destroyed. Keep on reiterating this. The following morning Lakhmichand left for heavenly abode. Swamiji in His discourse said that this body made up of five basic elements and 25 natural elements; the body is so beautiful. The Lord has created this so beautifully that numerous beings are amazed seeing this miracle. Many scholars also get trapped seeing this wonderful miracle. But this all is merely illusion.

Swamiji's mother Mata Krishnadevi used to get very worried because there were many days when there was no provision at home and there used to be huge crowd of devotees and Saints. Swamiji assured her that the Almighty will provide food for all and that there is no need to worry. When times were severe the elder daughter-in-law sold her jewelry to buy grocery but the Bhandara used to go on at Swamiji residence.

1. Sanchit Karma - these are deeds accumulated from several births

2. Prarabadh Karma-the association of all the deeds with which you have received the Human Body

3. Kriyaman Karma - the good and bad deeds done on a daily basis

Meaning that when I was unwell, there was a very well known and reputed doctor nearby but I could reach out to him because I had cataract in my eyes. Now after the doctor has gone I cry in repentance.

Swamiji says that similarly, ignorant beings also cry in the same way; Saints were in my neighborhood; I also had vices like greed, desire, jealousy but my mind was engaged in excessively worrying about them. I was restless; was blind in pride and ego. I was unable to seek a remedy from the Saints and now when the Saints have reached Brahamlok then I understood their importance. Today I weep on the missed opportunity. Now these ignorant beings serve at the temples and Tombs of these Saints; they attain societal rewards but are deprived of the real fruit of their association i.e. ‘Liberation’.
