His mother insisted that he get married, but he refused. He prefered to progress in the spiritual path. He used to spend most of his time in the company of his Master, Satguru Swami Teoonram Maharaj. He served his Master and other saints in the Ashram, and travelled with them to different parts of Sind.

He established his own Ashram at Hyderabad, Sind and Karachi. Swami was a good preacher. He gave discourses not only in Sindhi but Hindi, Punjabi and Gujrati also. Several people became his followers. At the age of forty five, he suffered from tuberculosis. He was admitted at the Dharampur Sanatorium near Shimla. In the month of October 1941, he left this world for heavenly abode. He was not only a saint but a poet also. He composed devotional poetry. There a mysticism and Vedantic philosophy in his poetry.
