Once Swamiji were staying in the jungle, away from his family and friends. He meditated for hours together and spent most of the time in contemplation of the Lord. Mata krishna and other devotees asked Swamiji to return back to the village, but Swamiji denied. After much persuasion, He assured that he will follow them later. At that time, Swami Gwallal ji, with folded hands,asked Satguru Maharaj
"O Revered Sai, your divine delusion(Mayaa) is very powerful indeed! All creatures have been enchanted by this Mayaa. Pray, tell us some way to get rid of this." With a sweet serene smile, Satguru Maharaj replied,
"Naam Roop Sab, Mithya Mayaa,
Na Kab Isthar Hoti Hai,
Badna Ghatna Aadat Iski,
Chalti Hai, Kab Soti Hai.
Anant Adbhut Khel kare Pun,
Badna Ghatna Aadat Iski,
Chalti Hai, Kab Soti Hai.
Anant Adbhut Khel kare Pun,
Hasti Hai Pun Roti Hai ,
Kahe Teoon, Yah Mohini Mayaa,
Kahe Teoon, Yah Mohini Mayaa,
Paar Brahma Ki Jyoti Hai"
Explaining the aforesaid idea, Satguru Maharaj said, " Mayaa does not stay in one place, it keeps changing. It reveals many wonderful and miraculous feats. This divine delusion is very alluring and tempting, but at the same time, it is a bright flame of the Absolute Brahman." Before trying to conquer this divine delusion, one should try to recognize and understand it. This Powerful Mayaa has enchanted all the three worlds and has enslaved them. All this divine delusion is false. Satguru's Naam is the Only Celestial Truth. Only Naam Jaap and surrendering in the Lotus Feet of Satguru can save us from this Mayaa."
